LEARN TO SURF AT CERRITOS BEACH
Cerritos Beach is one of the most iconic surf spots near Todos Santos and El Pescadero.
Known for its wide sandy beach, consistent waves and beginner-friendly areas, Cerritos is a great place for travelers who want to try surfing in Baja California Sur.
This surf experience is designed for beginners, casual surfers and guests who want a fun beach-based activity. Your instructor will explain the basics on the sand first, then help you enter the water, position yourself, choose waves and practice standing up on the board.
After the lesson, guests may enjoy free time with the board when included, relax on the beach or enjoy food and drinks at nearby Cerritos Beach restaurants.
The goal is simple: make the experience safe, fun, clear and memorable.

Non-surfer companions may join by request if local transportation or beach setup is needed.
1-Hour Surf Lesson
Best for guests who want a shorter introduction to surfing, basic instruction, in-water coaching and a fun first experience at Cerritos Beach.
2-Hour Surf Experience
Best for guests who want more time in the water, more coaching, extra practice and a more relaxed beach experience.
Free time with the board may be included depending on the selected option, schedule and conditions.
1. DIGITAL WAIVER AFTER BOOKING
After booking, guests receive a digital waiver to review and sign before the surf lesson.
All participating guests must complete the waiver before entering the water.
2. MEET AT CERRITOS BEACH
This surf experience starts at the confirmed Cerritos Beach meeting point.
Guests may meet directly at Cerritos Beach, or add local transportation if they need pickup from selected areas.
3. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION ADD-ON IF SELECTED
Local transportation is not included in the standard price.
Guests who add transportation will be picked up from the confirmed location and taken to Cerritos Beach. After the lesson, beach time and restaurant/free time, transportation returns guests according to the confirmed schedule.
4. INSTRUCTOR INTRODUCTION
Meet your surf instructor and receive your surfboard and rash guard.
Your instructor will explain the lesson format, ocean safety and what to expect.
5. BEACH INSTRUCTION
Before entering the water, your instructor explains basic surf safety, board handling, body position, paddling, standing technique and how the lesson will work.
6. IN-WATER COACHING
Enter the water with your instructor and practice catching beginner-friendly waves.
The instructor helps with timing, positioning, safety and technique.
7. PRACTICE & BOARD TIME
Continue practicing with instructor feedback so you can improve your balance, confidence and wave timing.
Depending on the selected option, guests may also enjoy free time with the board after the guided lesson portion.
8. BURRITOS, WATER & BEACH TIME
Enjoy burritos and water as part of the experience.
After the lesson, guests can relax on Cerritos Beach, take photos, enjoy the beach atmosphere or visit nearby beach restaurants for extra food or drinks at their own expense.
9. RETURN IF TRANSPORTATION WAS BOOKED
Guests who added local transportation return to the confirmed drop-off point after the beach time according to the confirmed schedule.
Guests who meet directly at Cerritos Beach may stay longer on their own.
This experience takes place at Cerritos Beach.
The standard meeting point is the confirmed beach meeting point at Cerritos.
Local transportation is not included in the standard price, but it may be added as an optional add-on from selected hotels, villas, Airbnbs or meeting points in:
