Local Experiences

These terms supplement Common Terms (00) and the conditions accepted before payment.

All policies · General terms · Privacy Policy

1. Service, inclusions and requirements

The confirmation identifies the activity, date, duration, operator or guide, meeting point, transfer if included, equipment, admissions, food and exclusions. The relevant age, ability, mobility, height, weight or experience requirements must be provided before payment. “Local experience” does not mean every activity is appropriate for every age or physical condition. Only the activity-specific subsections below that match your booking apply. A general safety form is not a substitute for those requirements.

2. City tours and cultural visits

The itinerary states whether the experience is walking, vehicle-based or mixed and identifies included admissions. Wear suitable footwear and follow street-crossing and meeting instructions. Site access and opening arrangements may affect sequence; an essential paid visit cannot simply be removed without a remedy. Shopping, voluntary donations and purchases are optional unless expressly included in the booked price.

3. Food tours, allergies and drinks

Included tastings, meals and drinks are specified before purchase. Tell Omega privately about relevant allergies or dietary needs before booking; an accommodation must be expressly confirmed. Do not assume a vendor can prevent cross-contact merely because an ingredient is omitted. This warning does not waive food-safety duties. No one is required to consume alcohol; legally applicable age restrictions are respected, and drinking is incompatible with later driving or unsafe activity participation.

4. Hikes, cliffs and waterfalls

Follow the guide and marked or approved route, use the specified footwear and carry the stated essentials. Tell the operator about limitations affecting safe walking on uneven ground. Do not approach unsafe cliff edges, leave the route, dive or enter water without authorization. Waterfall flow, trail access and swimming conditions are not guaranteed. Turnaround or route changes for an objective safety concern are handled with explanation and the common remedies, not a promise to reach a hazardous destination.

5. Horseback and camel experiences

The operator sets the animal-specific size, age, health and experience limits and must disclose them before payment. Follow mounting, spacing and handling instructions; do not feed, strike or startle an animal. Use required protective equipment. An animal’s behavior creates risks of falls and sudden movement. A photograph or close interaction is not permission to ignore the handler. Refusal based on an objectively unsafe fit is addressed according to the cause and the previously disclosed policy.

6. Surf lessons and ocean participation

Participants must satisfy the lesson’s swimming and ocean-readiness requirements. Follow the instructor, enter only the designated area and use the assigned equipment. A lesson is not unrestricted board rental or unsupervised swimming. The lesson length, instructor arrangement and included equipment must be confirmed. Wave quality and individual progress are not guaranteed. The instructor may stop water participation when conditions or demonstrated ability make it unsafe; remedies depend on the cause and the booked terms.

7. Shore fishing and boat fishing

The booking distinguishes shore fishing from a boat outing and states equipment, bait, transport and any applicable permit arrangements. Follow hook, casting and fish-handling instructions. On a boat, follow the captain and flotation requirements. Applicable species, capture and conservation rules must be respected; the operator must identify relevant limits. A catch, species, quantity or size is not guaranteed. Fish processing, storage or delivery is included only if expressly booked.

8. Whale watching and other wildlife

Wildlife outings depend on authorized operations, access and natural conditions. Respect captain and guide instructions, distances and animal-protection rules. Do not chase, touch or feed wildlife. A whale-watching booking is not permission to swim with whales. Sightings and proximity are not guaranteed unless an express, lawful promise says otherwise. Any advertised repeat-trip guarantee must state its actual eligibility and cannot replace a refund owed for a service that was not provided.

9. Punctuality, cancellation and equipment

Follow the confirmed schedule and disclose relevant needs before purchase. Document 00’s general cancellation policy applies unless a different lawful service-specific policy was disclosed before payment. Weather, closure or operator cancellation follows document 00, including partial delivery and material changes. Report equipment defects and incidents promptly. Charges for missing or damaged equipment need a disclosed basis, attribution and evidence; normal wear is not charged. Voluntary withdrawal from a properly delivered activity is different from an undisclosed risk or service failure.

10. Common protections and related services

Read document 00 and the applicable sections of these full terms. An included or additionally booked ground transfer uses document 03; a motorized off-road component uses document 01; a massage uses document 08. Acknowledging outdoor, animal or water risks does not release Omega or the operator from legally attributable negligence. Individual safety consents and required privacy notices remain separate.
